Her exboyfriend just admitted to drug and alcohol abuse...in real life. That's what it's in reference to. I hope this helps.

They said that Ben Moody [former evanescence member] had a relationship with amy lee [lead vocals]. According to Amy, it was unhealthy and abusive. Call me when you're sober is about Ben Moody..

It's actually one of Amy Lee's past relationship with a guy. Basically she is saying this guy is not himself anymore and that whenever he gets back to being himself to talk to her again.

She's talking about a relationship... The guy either parties too much or is an alcoholic... either way, he neglects her. Then, when she's gone, he wants her again just because he wants what he can't have.
