Running the Crucial memory tool might give you some idea, it doesn't take but two seconds and might help you out. It won't give you much information about the motherboard, but the reason you want to know is to upgrade your memory (which is common) it will do all the work for you and you won't have to crack into your computer.

Not to go on a rant but there is good and bad to everyone. * Some men want a classy woman but don't want her to be a snob. * Some men want a woman who is sexy and attractive but don't want everyone else coming onto her at the same time. * Some men do not know what they want and instead think they have the right to judge everyone somehow? There is a good side and bad side to everyone so instead of listing what I don't like, I will list what I will not tollerate. Cheaters and liars are first to be eliminated because they cannot be trusted. Second women that bottle-up their frustration and then wait for an audience of our family and friends to blow up about things that happened over a month ago, they are next to go because the version of the past that they remember is never the full truth and you will never get a chance to respond because they will rant the whole group that they gathered against you. lastly I cannot tollerate woman that hate the fact that they are women. Self-loathing leads to too many problems, especially in the bedroom. If you feel that way, do everyone a favor and kill yourself. Don't blame other people and don't become a man-hater because they had nothing to do with it.

Download Belarc Advisor (FREE). It will give you a lot of interesting information about your computer. Including the ever elusive "Key Code" for your copy of Win XP.

The best way is to look at it, and then google the model number to get all the information you need.

boot into the BIOS...as the system is coming up, hit the DEL key (or F2, or F12...depends on the computer)
It should tell you somewhere near the bottom if it comes up correctly
