I have just read the answers to a question about Libreals& Conservatives. What amazed me was how hated rich people are. I have bettered myself by starting 2 businesses so I guess I am rich. Why should I be told that because I have made my life better by hard work that I should give my money to you because you were not as lucky as I. I worked for it why cant you. The Democrats seem to think what is mine is theirs. I have news for them,only my wife can say that.

To DUSTY R no one at my businesses make less then $22,000 for o part time to $36,000 fulltime. I have 5 fulltime managers plus me . I do not work as hard now because of illness. Last year my pay was $81,000because of my 5/3plan, 3 of every 5 for company 2 for me.

Rich is a relative term. For someone on minimum wage, $60,000 a year is rich. If you live in Greenwich, CT, that is your annual mortagage payment for a condo. It is all subjective.
The problem is the Democrats are the party of redistributing wealth and hand me outs. It is sad that immigrants are many of the successful people in America.

I was rich for years without knowing it. I was working my way through college at a food factory at night. I worked on the sanitation crew, tough job but I liked it. On the weekends, there was lots of extra cleaning and on Saturdays it was time+half and on Sundays it was Double-time. I loved that, I could continue my studies and make some decent bread.
When Clinton raised the taxes on the rich I was surprised to find out that I was a member of the rich. Some guy cleaning a factory while in college was rich. My taxes went through the rough, I had to cut back on the extra time.
I still marvel at anyone who calls me rich.
I see that Rhonda is a typical sophisticated liberal; she called you a big dummy without bothering to address the substance of the argument.

I always wondered what liberals mean when they refer to "the rich". What they don't realize is that in most cases is that it takes two or more generations for "rich" families to be prosperous. My great-grandparents had next to nothing, my grandparents did better, and so on..
What I REALLY hate is the estate tax, now that I am close to inheriting what my parents busted thier butt for! My dad was a union worker who worked mucho overtime for years, finally retired and that lifelong loyal democrat is now on his way to voting republican, if I can help it.

It's envy... people always cut down others who have something they want. Some people deserve to be wealthy but never strike lucky, but a lot of people are plain lazy and have no ambition... therefore, it makes sense that they aren't as well off. Congratulations on being successful.

The Republicans seem to think what is yours is the Iraqis. All they care about are Iraqi people... painting their schools and directing their traffic with our military, $350 billion of YOUR money and counting.
I prefer Americans to Iraqis. Why to Republicans love the Iraqis so much? That's the real question.
