I look for a cheap guitar to play rock and metal music. Im not so picky with the quatily but Id rather ask for one with a medium qualitiy

Epiphone makes good medium quality inexpensive guitars, after them I would say Ibanez, also check your local used music stores. You can often get a good deal on a guitar and amplifier.

You never said what kind of music you play,but about the best guitar ever made is Gibson's "Les Paul"...and the Fender Stratocaster is a great guitar too.

it's not the guitar it the strings and pedals that made the sound good.
so just buy one you can afford and get good strings

get a fender stat. theres guitars for begginers at reasonable prices. and the guita does count on the sound also the strings,pedals, and amp.
