How cool would it be for Detroit to host a Super Bowl and a World Series Championship game in THE SAME YEAR???

The Red Wings were expected to do that back then, the Tigers were in some ways unexpected. Personally I'm a huge fan of both, but the positive publicity for Detroit in this Tigers' win because of the scope of baseball vs. hockey is wonderful for the city, it can use it! GO TIGERS!!!

Depends on whether you're a hockey nut or a baseball fan. I'm a baseball fan myself, but the current hoopla in Detroit doesn't affect me since I am a long suffering Reds fan. By the way, I don't think you're gonna have to worry about the Super Bowl.

Tigers for sure. Not many people care much about hockey anymore after the missed season, even in Detroit.
