The closing scene is shot on Lakeshore road in Grosse Pointe Farms and Grosse Pointe Shores- he drives right through the border. Lakeshore road then turns into Jefferson and continues on into Detroit and takes you all the way downtown. The movie only shows the Lakeshore part of the road. I am not positive but i think he drives past the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club- i haven't seen the movie in a long time.
