After two years of living here in Italy, I'm finally able to speak Italian very well. I took classes, but I think moving off the Military base and actually living amongst the Italian people and their culture is what made me really learn the language. My little girl will be three in March, and she can speak both English and Italian. I think that is so good for her!

I'm bilingual. My native language is English (born in New York) and I learned Spanish in Guadalajara, Mexico when I was 21. Besides having been financially beneficial I feel I've enjoyed the advantage of understanding people and cultures better.
