They usually do tell you when they are ready for something differant & more of. Try her out on wholsome things like applesauce. Nothing big enough to lodge her throut but easy for her to gum since she doesn't probably have the teeth to chew it. Stay away from salts & sugars. Mash potatoes are also good. Oatmeal, scrambled eggs and stuff like this. Out of my 3 kids only one would really eat baby food but now she's 20 & she still likes the taste of some. My other 2 didn't care for much of any of it.

hi, how old is she? My son has started doing the same thing, we have givin him certain table foods, we have replaced almost one meal a day with table foods. But, have found it really hard to feed him the baby foods. He is 10 1/2 months old. People have told me that once they get a taste of adult food, they just don't want the baby muck anymore. I'm not too worried, because I will be putting him in daycare within a two months, and they feed table foods there, it will be an easier transition if he is on table foods at that time. Good Luck!

How old is she? Babies typically start moving to table food at about a year old. My daughter suddenly weaned herself off of baby food one morning. She simply refused to eat the cereal and didn't even want the fruit! I had just stocked her up the day before too, but she never ate baby food again.
It depends on her age, but it's doubtful this is a phase. If she wants table food, make sure she is eating healthy foods in small pieces that are easy for her to chew and swallow. Avoid too much sugar, salt, and spices, and she should be fine.

Throw the baby food away. Give her the table food mashed up. Just make sure she has a well balanced diet. No honey till 2.

Baby food is just mashed up table food. I wouldn't give her foods inappropriate to her age -- no dairy before 23 mos, etc. -- but there's nothing wrong with giving her table food as long as it's the right kind. Just mash it with a fork or cut it into bite size pieces.

Obviously her tummy IS ready for table foods. All you need to do is have either a food processor or blender and when you have a meal use the processor/blender to shop/puree the same foods you are eating so she can eat it. My daughter was off store bought baby foods by three months, she got used to eating a variety of the foods (making her less of a picky eater when she got older) plus I wasn't paying for the over priced baby foods, and I knew EXACTALY what was going into the foods I fed my child.

Your baby won't eat it if she isn't ready for it. My daughter is 8 1/2 months old and WILL NOT eat baby food. She won't eat anything on a spoon and will only eat finger foods. This concerned me at first, until I read this article. I hope it helps you, it really helped me. God Bless

well how old is she? kids these days are more advanced than we were so maybe she is ready in a sense. Just be careful of what you give her especially foods that may cause an allergic reaction like fish, nuts (of course she probably can't eat that anyway), and stick to simple foods like mashed potatoes, or it's just going to come out in the diaper.

it genuinely relies upon on how previous your daughter is and if she has any teeth. some infants are waiting for popular table nutrition in the previous. If it would not injury your abdomen it won't injury hers, while you're offering her healthy meals with the food, alongside with sufficient fat that she desires. Scrambleds eggs, steamed vegetables, and delicate culmination are ok.
