It all depends on how old your daughter is and if she has any teeth. Some babies are ready for regular table food earlier. If it doesn't hurt your stomach it won't hurt hers, if you are offering her healthy foods with the nutrients, including enough fat that she needs. Scrambleds eggs, steamed veggies, and soft fruits are ok.

How old is she? Both of my kids started on table food early, my son even earlier than my daughter - he cut teeth on a dill pickle spear. My daughter started refusing baby food at about 8 months, my pediatrican at the time said to feed her what she wanted (within reason of course) and she did just fine. I think it just depends on the child.

What if you served it differently?
I don't know how you do it, but you might be coming towards her with a little jar and spoon with the baby food, but maybe you put the non-baby food on a plate.
I'm not an expert on nutrition, so I won't go into that.

You don't mention how old she is now. There are several people who make their own baby food at home to there's nothing wrong with stopping jar baby food altogether. You don't want meal time to be stressful. Talk to her doctor and get their opinion.

do not force her to eat any more baby food if she doesnt want to. If she can eat the table food saftley then that means she is ready. some babys start earlier than the others. sometimes you shouldnt follow what thee books say. if she is not ready to eat harder food you should only let her eat softer food. if you are really concerned you should see your doctor. but if not let her eat the table scraps!!

she should be ready for some table foods...just make sure they arent too acidic (some fruit), too spicy...a lot of people with baby's buy blenders and grind up food...even if you look at the ingredients for baby food-you'll find out all it is is table food that's been grinded up and mashed together with other table food

nope, she is ready for table food. try usuing less seasoning, or seperating hers before you season, but really if she is crying, then let it go.
