Have your doll go as a cheerleader also ot a foot ball player it will cute and funny and it will warm your moms heart to know she could do something for you.

How sad, I wouldn't have the heart to not wear the costume she made for me. I say you understand the situation and wear that costume even though it wasn't what you wanted, I mean, let's look at the bright side here, she could've made you a giant tomato costume or something like that, don't complain about a cheerleader uniform.

On the worst case scenario, leave your house wearing the costume she made you, and then change to another one at a friend's house or something, but AT LEAST make her believe you did use the cheerleader costume, it would break her heart if you didn't after all her work.

Tell your mother you appreciate the costume but you would like to go as something else.To make her feel better,try to use some of the materials that she used to make the costume.Or try and give the doll a costume that looks like yours and wear the one your mom made put the other on your doll.

You're playing with fire, which means you eventually WILL get burned. Let's say you actually go through with this stupid idea. While you're out, your mother wakes up from her nap and sees you and her car are gone. Unless she's aware of your having done it in the past, she calls the police. The cops, now aware of your transgression, are now actively looking for you and her car. If a cop sees you, he WILL pull you over. (He could also runs the plates as a routine check, and if anything's amiss, he'll pull you over.) You're toast. Should you get pulled over, honesty will work in your favor, but only so far. You still will have broken several laws: -driving without a license; -not presenting the necessary documents (license, registration, insurance card); -providing a false name (assuming you try to pass yourself off as your older brother); -identity theft Some possible consequences, if caught and found guilty: -juvenile incarceration; -restriction from obtaining your license until you're eighteen years of age (This would mean that, even if you avoid incarceration, you would see your classmates get their permits and licenses at sixteen and seventeen, and you're stuck having to be driven around until you're eighteen. It would make you a pariah among your classmates.) -possible charge of grand theft auto, a felony; -identity theft, a felony. I'm old enough to be your father. If you were my son and did that, you would find yourself at the "business end" of my discipline, and likely not see ANY help in your defense, as you've admitted doing on more than one previous occasion. There is no way I can condone such an action. Your best bets are to have your mother drive you, or your friend's parent to pick you up.

Do you think your Mom went to all that trouble and effort to make you that costume because she loves you and wanted you to wear something special. My guess is...she did. I would wear your Mom's costume for the party and Halloween, because it would make her feel really special if you wore the costume she made especially for you. I am a Mom too, and my daughter is eleven. I would like to think that she would wear her costume that I made for her. You can be something else next year. Sometimes someone's feelings are more important than any costume...this is one of those times. You are a lucky little girl to have a Mom that would go to all that trouble for you, she must love you a lot.

honey thank your mommy for making you a costume - you are so lucky. and you are going to look real cute. if you can visit te doll store and get your doll a cheerleader outfit, and from now start thinking about what you want to be next year ok? so mom has plenty of time to discuss wit you what she is going to do and you can let her know what you want

you might ask mom if she can make your doll an outfit similar to yours

Seeing that you are a 27 year old man still living at home, you better just stop complaining and wear the cheerleader outfit. You mom had to work hard on that outfit, don't let her down again.

Well,if it means that much to you then you should just say something to her about it. She may be a little disappointed because she made the costume,but I think the most important
thing to her will be for you to have a good time. Hope it goes well.

you could tell your mom and either 2 things will happen;
she will understand, or be pissed off
why don't you tell her to make a cheerleader costume for your doll

I like Jessica's answer. Be sweet to your mother...she sounds like a really nice person. My mother didn't bother with Halloween costumes. We were on our own even when we were children.
