i don't believe so. Didn't he have congential heart defect? I believe that the surgery they did to correct his heart defect would be sufficient to carry him though his entire life. Although if they put some type of pacemaker in though, eventually I believe that the battery would need to be changed on it which would require another surgery. KTBPA

i don't think he will unless he needs to have it again. i hope that he don't have to have surgery again.
