Hey!
Ok I'm 16 and I love! singing. But I dont know of any ways I can make my singing better. Do you have any breathing tips, Exersizes and just regualar tips to help me further my singing ability? I want to become an actress when I'm older, and to be qualified for an acting role, you must also be able to sing.

My singing usually comes out flat if I hit a certain pich. Can you help me with this?
Please and Thank you!!

Also, I am previously homeschooled. So I cannot go to any teachers for help.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.

one good way is to lay flat on the floor and to your. do ray me fah.... or is a good song that make your voice strong like my immortal by evanescence, unchamed melody lianne rymes. it also helps on your breathing. its hard to use your diaphragm. but try to sing from the belly up not the throat or nose.

Your voice is a muscle, and just like any other part of your body, it needs to be worked out in order to gain strength. It's hard to explain the exercises for you to do without you actually hearing them so I would suggest you go to your choir teacher and request a few warm up exercises. Even if you're not in choir I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out with some warmup exercises. If you find your going flat on certain notes I would suspect they are high notes. If you're struggling to reach high notes then try a mental trick. Raise your eyebrows. Your pitch will rise nearly a half-step, I swear! Other than that, practice practice practice.

Ok I am a singer and I have been getting lessons for two years, and I have been singing since I could talk....there are two things I recommend to you...Number one: get lessons....they work with your type of voice and give you strengthening excercises that will help you grow...Number two: if you havent already, buy the book Singing for dummies....it gives you all the answers to your singing needs, comes with a cd so you can practice, and it even gives you lists of songs to sing for auditions depending on your type of voice....and thats about all i can recommend to you...

happy singing days!

Some men say that singing topless helps.

Let's your breasts fill with air!
