I got the sims 2 and the captioning is in english but my sims are speaking some wierd language how do i fix this its for pc

Ah, you're new to the game obviously. The language they are speaking is called Simlish so it wouldn't be contreversial between all the countries that get the game. You pretty much learn through commands and frequent game playing also they have the little pop up things above there heads and they do move there hands with there emotions so just watch. Kind of like a baby.

The Sims actually don't speak English. They speak in Simspeak. No kidding. The words they say are just made up by the creators of the game, and are basically gibberish. You can go to the official maxis site to check this out if you like. So don't worry--there's nothing wrong with your game.

Your sims are speaking a language called simlish. It is in all versions of the game and sorry is not something to be fixed! This way it can appeal to all who speak any language.

It is called simlish. They don't speak english or any other known language in the world. Its just jibberish and that's the way the game was made.

Wow.... lol it's just how they speak in the game it's called simeon or something like that (well that maybe what the money is called) but anyway you can't change it, sorry
