Actually, I hear beards are out. I do believe that the new requirement is nothing less than a soul patch and nothing more than a goatee. If you fail to operate withing those facial hair boundries; you run the risk of alienating yourself from your fellow managers and being labled as a renegade or (worse yet) a peon sympathizer!!

On the face of it you are unlikely to ever be appointed Area Manager to whatever business you refer. So I think you can forget the beard,. . . and grow up instead!
