He is not thru yet, but up to date. I would say he will be remembered for trying to run the country by all the Conservatives.
And not getting anyone to work together. He will be remembered by many Americans as the President that sent their family members to a war that was not necessary.
It is amazing that Conservatives are still standing behind a Congress and President. That have lied to the American people repeatldy and has nearly run our country into the ground.
To think they use their power for themselves first. When the country is in the middle, no one will be hollaring liberal this or consertivie this. The fact that the President is backing the speaker, after he clearly held back criminal ongoings by a fellow Congressman. He did nothing, until asked about it. And our president backs this guy? I have children, so does Geo. you would think his priorities would be in order. I wonder how his children feel about it? And how he would feel about it if it was his boy or daughter that had been stalked by their mentor, and no one cared enough to speak out. I thought that was what a speaker should do, speak. If it wasn't for the sorry people that would follow if Bush was to resign, I would ask him to do that. But look at who would take his place.

It's sad that the worst tragedy hasn't been spoken of yet.
It'll be how the country/world reacted to 9/11. We cannot make any true legacy statements b/c only time will tell. When NAM was goin on, there were haters just like there are Bush haters today, so don't listen to these one sided views of children who aren't old enough to have an opinion since they can't vote yet.

An illegal war that will have costs Trillions, the death of many troops and Iraqi's for nothing, and his torture tactics, disregarding the US Supreme Court thinking he is some kind of dictator!
Then he has the ba_lls to get Congress to pass a law exempting him and his cronies for any war criminal acts and the law redifines the Geneva Conventions and allows NO court to hear any matter regarding such claims! A get out of jail free card if you will! I think the law is unconstitutional!
Additionally, he has disregarded the economy, put us into bankruptcy and was a president for the corporations and the wealthy, not the people!
He will be remembered as the 1st convicted criminal to be elected to the white house for a Cocaine Bust in Texas, as Kennedy is remembered for being the 1st elected Catholic!
He'll also be remembered as an alcoholic without the capacity to tell the truth!
His legacy will be as the worst president in the history of this nation!

Legacy? Well if you consider the fact that he froze when the 911 attacks hit then i guess that would be it. I mean comon, he sat there in that classroom while a book was being read and didn't do a single thing. Some say it is because he didn't want to be rude and disrupt the class, but clearly he froze and had no idea what to do. I think people will/should remember this for a long long time.

His legacy will be defending the United States in the face of vocal critics in his country.
The same group of people criticized Reagan for standing up to the USSR. The did the exact same thing, they criticized, accused and ridiculed him relentlessly. They called him stupid and questioned his honesty.
Years later the politically correct monkeys are trying the same stunt, they have not even bothered to change the wording. Once again they will be on the wrong side of history

Defending America from Democrats and terrorists at the same time. Doing his damnedest to help America recover from The worst Terrorist attack against us in our history AND the worst natural disaster in our history (Katrina) at the same time. Maybe the economy? The Dow keeps on breaking record highs! All VERY good things!
