I've been looking for a costume that is really cute. I want to win for best costume at my school. So far my ideas are Steve Irckle, Wonder Woman, and A Geisha Girl. Any more ideas ??! Best answer will definitly get 10 points ! whoever has the best answer will be the costume idea i will have ! and please no jokes about saying to be like scarface or whatever. Wow sounds like fun. My friends and I are going as rag dolls ... red cheeks, girly dresses, pigtails and ribbons. Let me think of a few original ideas ...
1) Cleopatra .. think heaps of gold .. you'll stand out!
2) Dorothy from the wizard of oz ... glitterly red heels and blue and white dress. You could carry a basket and a soft toy toto dog.
3) Marilyn Monroe .. curl your hair if your blond. If your a brunnette .. red head or black hed you could get a wig. White 50's style dress. Classic and elegant.
4) Reto 50's girl ... giant poodle skirts... i've always wanted to wear one.
5) Elizabethan gown .... huge and puffy
Here are just a few.. ill edit and add more if I can think of any! The geisha girl is a really good idea too! Reminds me of the movie memiors of geisha!

here's some ideas: bo-peep a fairy a marionette doll (with the red circle cheeks, curled hair, a flouncy dress, vivid eyelashes and strings attached of course) a facebook/myspace page (use cardboard) someone from a certain time period 50s,60s,70s,80s(very fun!) or from medieval/rennaissance commonly known fictional charachter or a fairytale character-Rapunzel, etc. This one is pretty cheesy but one of you could string small ceral boxes on a piece of rope then stick forks thru the boxes and wear it around your neck (hence THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah that one might be to "gay" for you (since 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) but its just a suggestion.

Geisha Girl is a cool idea, what about an old English Queen like Marie Antoinette or Queen Elizabeth. Or Fairy Queen Titania, watch A Midsummer Night's Dream for ideas about fairies.

When I was in fifth grade I won the costume contest and I was Selena. I wore black dressy pants with black boots, a white button down top, hoop earrings, and red lipstick. I pulled my hair up and I got a black hat which I covered the front of it with glitter. Everyone loved it and it was really easy to make. Good luck and I hope you win!

What about a pin cushion? Check out the movie "Halloweentown." The evil mayor's secretary is a pin cushion and its way clever and looks pretty easy.

how about a real cowgirl from the old west...it's pretty inexpensive and it will be comfortable. just get a length of rope for your lasso, some old jeans with some dirt on them, and a really comfy flannel shirt. a toy pistol would work well too, and a stetson.
