yes I do believe in it and it's for a biological reason. It's because a human child has developed enough at 6 or 7 for it not to need it's father around.Back in caveman days anyway. It's a lot more technical than that but that's the general theory. I watched it on one of those Professor Robert Winston documentaries

I have been married 3 times, I am very happy with my third wife and I can say it and with authority that I believe in it, yes. Not as a set 7 year period but that after about 10 years a marriage is tested in a ferocious way. We men seem to go through a phase of not knowing what we want after being 10 years loyal to one lady. Like going through a confused state of mind. We start questioning whether this is the marriage we really want, which is a bit stupid because by then we probably already have two 3 even 3 kids !! If we do not meet anyone we like, the marriage survives but the danger is if we meet someone and fall into the temptation and destroy the marriage as a result. Sop I do believe that a marriage is tested around the 10th year.

Of course. Seven is a special number. It governs so much of our lives. The Moon, womens cycles ( men of course have them too but they're not Pride and Prejudices....period drama's) and then theres the itch. And when you have an itch you know how hard it is to ignore it. Scratch away. But remember what it says in someones bible.....he who scratches first scratches first. Just do what feels right. But dont scratch for seven years..that'll hurt

it's based on the assumption on how the relationship will go, but each couple is different. some have better relationship at later years but some cannot even get through the first 7 months.

It also depends on the character and personality, how determined you are to work it out with your partner.

i've been married for 10 years and the now is the best time of my married life.

Its not an itch it is an urge, and the big picture of it is. If you scratch that itch it could hurt a lot of people in the long run. So I just be careful and remember why you love you partner.
