I think they should be allowed on computers. For the same reason stupid people can vote, own guns, drive, have kids...

It's not a matter of typing. it is a matter of education and do people really care how they come across to other people. If we actually knew who was composing the question, would they appear without all the errors.

I see where you are coming from. How would you plan to enforce such a rule which would not "allow people who cannot type on a computer??" I mean we live in an open and free society. What would you do?? Put them in prison??
Chow!!

This kind of attitude is rather stupid. One of the best things about the internet is that anyone can use it. That means kids, adults, rocket scientists, people with little or no education, people who dont have English as their first language, etc. No one is forcing you to read, reply or communicate with people that do not have excellent typing skills... so dont. Its your choice.

Oh yes! Typos are one thing, if I get going too fast, I make typos too. What really gets me are bad misspellings, improper word usage and internet-"ese" Like: "What r u going 2 do?" I can't stand that!

I can understand what you are syaing, but I think it is petty. How does one learn these skills if they do not interact with others and see how sentences are constructed?
It is easy to want everyone to live up to your standards. It is another thing to have some compassion and understanding for the people who have reached your level.

Playing on a computer may help them type better. Once they see the number of people bitching and complaining, the incentive to type better increases....

i I understand your concern, yet you had to use "assumed" profanity to make your point?
The question really lies in the fact that you are complaining about others or that you have inadequacies about yourself that you are dealing with...
The well educated do NOT need to use "stars" as letters. They can at least look up a word in a dictionary to see if it is the right word.
