If the anti-spyware and antivirus are up to date, seems like you may have a memory resident bug, which re-creates itself at startup. If you are running xp ,try restarting in safemode, then run your protection software, see if it picksup anything then.

I think the anti-spyware and all of that is the problem because the same thing happened to my computerand when I clicked ok I got tons of viruses{trojan, deique, you name the virus I had it} then I tried to use my spyware to get of the viruses and it cut off and I couldn't get on the computer for 2 weeks and I'm a computer whiz it was dreadful.

Have you or anyone else on your computer been learning visual basic? Part of the training programme was to create a small, harmless program that just said 'hello world'.
Check you 'start up' folder in the start menu and also run 'msconfig' to see what's selected at start up.

Go here and do the online scan. (click Full Service Scan button) It will probably find it and get rid of it. It takes a long time, be patient, but it's REALLY very good. Official Microsoft site.

Have you ever heard of haunted computers? Some people don't belive in them, but they are real. I had one before. It turned itself on in the middle of the night, the speaker knobs started moving and then they blasted spooky noises, strange messages were appearing on the monitor, I unplugged it and it still ran, and one day this jack-o-lantern face came on the monitor and started laughing and scared the **** out of me. And no, I'm not lying about any of this.

sounds like a program initiating. if you can get past it without cancelling or approving then go to start-run-msconfig-startup-and look and see if there are any programs running-if so uncheck it and reboot

It's a 'welcome' message that's been put on by either you or your Dad.
If you click on it OK, it should open your programs -BUT CHECK WITH YOUR DAD FIRST !
I set mine up to say 'Welcome Frog'.
