This wouldn't be this first time . A woman in a KY . library was fired a few years ago for the same thing . A FL. woman was fired for eating pork ( offensive ) on her lunch break . I haven't heard this latest story yet ; but this is unconstitutional and shouldn't be happening .If that isn't bad enough-picture what would happen if a liberal got elected ..

It had nothing to do with offending Muslims. If the cross was larger than it was (1-2cm) then perhaps she would had been allowed to still wear it as it would protrude out of her check in uniform.
Sikhs are allowed to wear their bangles with BA uniform, by the way, as the bangle cannot be tucked inside the blouse or shirt.

One more thing to blame on the muslums. Somebody's stupid over the top idea. Where the ordainary person couldn't care less if the person next to them wears a cross, wears a turban or a veil. Each to his own. You go to your church & I'll go to mine. Not a big problem. This all seems so silly to me.

If she was working for the ARABIC airlines you are not allowed to display the sign of the cross on any thing. My Uncle used to work in SAUDI and wasn't allowed Christmas card with anything religious on them. He wasn't even allowed a Bible.

I do believe that the media have yet again managed to manipulate the public into picking on people who have the guts to stand up and be counted for what they believe in. It wouldn't matter what your religion, if you have the gall to stand up and proudly state your religion, the media will find a way to make sure you get knocked straight back down again. We should be glad that people still try.

Just another example of politically correct people going bonkers. Now, you are allowed to go through life not being offended.

What's going on...? Let me tell you- if you offend ONE person with ANYTHING- YOU are in the wrong. Can't wait to see what happens with the holidays around the corner... get rid of Xmas trees 'cause it offends the tree huggers?

a woman who works with british airways was told to tuck her cross under her uniform.

at the same time, the same company is allowing muslim headscarves to be worn and Sikh turbans.

shocking isn't it. christianity, the religion that has done so much to shape the history and culture of Britain, is taking a battering. it is very sad.

I am not a Christian by the way.
