i can click a peace of metal and it reacts with the liquid thats in a bag,It heats up .turning the liquid into cristals .i can reset it by bioling it ready to do it again.can you tell me what the substance is please .

it could be many solutions that cause exothermic realease of heat of crystalization. The clicking of the metal disc is the trigger which forms a seed crystal that begins a crystalization cascade. The solution, as it crystalizes, is falling into a lower state of energy, and releases heat. By boiling it or microwaving it you release the water of crystalzation and restore it into solution.

The liquid is sodium acetate...farmers used to use vats of this on nights when they thought a freeze would affect the crops
