I like them, that's what I think about snakes. There is no such thing as a "natural aversion" to snakes. Hand one to any child and they will happily play with it. Everyone I ever met that believed they had a natural aversion to them always had parents claiming the same thing so it's kind of obvious it was a learned behavior.

Snakes are very benificial animals. They help control the rodent population, but as far as having them for pets I don't think so.

I have a natural aversion to them and keep my distance. Once found a rattle snake under porch of my isolated cabin. To reach any tool to kill him, he would've struck first. So I said, "Snake, I need to spend the night here. I'll leave you alone if you'll leave me alone." Had no problems, but adrenaline pumped for awhile.

I LUV SNAKES!! THEY ARE THE COOLEST ANIMAL IN THE WORLD! they arn't too fluffy, scaley, slimey, small, big or noisy.

They're sexy animals--but they're nature's creatures just the same and need protection and care--don't let the man manhandle them hehe
