does anyone know why oprah's hairstylists changed her original style that she became famous for to the many styles she wears now? She doesn't have an originality anymore. They can't make an oprah doll without an original hairstyle. I like the change, it just doesn't seem like a good marketing strategy. So there must have been a good reason.

I think she, like most women, just likes to change things up a lot. It would be a bad strategy for her to never chance since her whole bit is about always evolving and looking for a better self.

I am not sure that making an OPRAH doll is at the top of Oprah's wish list. Her hair stylist changes her hair style to fit the fashions she wears and the modern trends in hair styling. Possibly Oprah likes that because she can't be cloned into a stereotypical doll-like figure.

She is a billionaire and so she can afford new hair every day or ten or 20 times a day if she wants. So she spends her money on her hair and has to buy clothes every day as her weight goes off both ends of the scale two or three times a year. Just sooooo much money. She also wants to impress everyone - especially holloywood people as she is so insecure that she needs their approval.

She changed it to move into her new season. It was a much needed change. I liked it, but it was time to go. Plus, with black hair you have to change it up or your hair starts to fall out being styled in the same fashion for too long.
