My woodstove is connected to the chimney that runs the oil furnace. Is this up to code.?

The main question I would have before answering your question is; "Does the woodstove share the same flue or pipe as the oil furnace or just the same chimney structure?" If they only share the same structure and not the same flue, that is not a code violation. If they share the same flue, it is a code violation. codes require a seperate chimney for each the furnace and woodstove. When I was growing up the house had both on one chimney and never had any problems.
