If any other country, came in to the U.S. to try and get Bush,Americans would come together like never before,to protect their President. I'm just wondering if Iraqi citizen's felt the same way for Sadam.

Nah, let them talk. We run other governments down along with their leaders. We say freedom of speech is a guarantee, but get upset when someone else says what they want to say? Rights aren't just for Americans.

Iraqi people HATE the United States. They have lost more lives since the war started, than when Saddam was torturing Kurds.

America is a democracy ,,,,, America would love to see a global democracy ,,,,, We are proud that we have freedom of speech ,,,,That's one of the fundamental rules of democracy, but that freedom isn't just limited to Americans alone ,,,,,Anyone who lives under a flag representing freedom has this liberty too ,,,,, People world wide are intelligent enough to recognize what they see ,,,,, It's not hard to see what bush is ,,,, He's reapping now what he's sewn and still sewing to the detriment of the people he's supposed to be serving ,,,,, It's the way of the republican party and more so since the 1980 elections ,,,,,The republican has always catered to the people in the corporate sector instead of what's good for the entire populace ,,,,, If it can be done ,,,, Then it's going to take generations for the American people to recover from the last few republican administrations ,,,,, Reasons for that I won't go into here ,,,,,, So bush is a globally recognized figure ,,,,, His popularity in this country is the lowest it's ever been for any president in the entire history of the United States ,,,,,,People around the globe recognize this ,,,,,so he has a failing rating globally too ,,,,,,I am a loyal American but I have absolutely NO respect for the man in office right now but I do respect and recognize the office of the president of the United States ,,,,,it's the highest position a person can achieve in the world ,,,,,So it's under the scrutiney of the peoples of the world continuously ,,,, Too bad we don't have someone in there that's worthy of that respect ,,,,,, What the people of this nation or the world thinks about the United States is a direct result of what the person in the office does or how he administers to national and or global affairs ,,,,,, As I said earlier ,,,, He is only reapping what he's sewn ,,,,,, The nation is suffereing because of him ,,,,, Before that it was his father ,,,,,I didn't agree with his fathers political views at all ,,,, but I liked the man ,,,,, he's just a good guy ,,,,, and before him there was regan ,,,,,, One of the people that submitted an answer to your question (birdsnake) needs to re read his history ,,,, The only pockets bushes tax cuts put money in is the corporate sectors ,,,,, And I agree with one of the other previous answers that bush isn't known for using chemical weapons ,,,,,, or other weapons of mass destruction ,,,, In fact no one including the United States can ever FIND weapons of mass destruction anywhere ,,,,,

The Sunni's did, the rest of the population wanted him gone and if our country would turn him over to the Kurds he would already be DEAD. Any American regardless of party affiliation should be willing to protect their President no matter which party he is with. One of the biggest problems we have in our country is people consider themselves Democrats or Republicans first instead of Americans first and all other things come afterward.

So you're saying we should be like Iraq Saddam and not question the president? That no matter what the president does we should rally around him? The way the republicans supported Clinton? Or is he exception to your rule?

If any other country, came in to the U.S. to try and get Bush - what on earth are you talking about?

If your President is a complete Tw*t, why should he be 'open season' just for Americans - surely we can all join in?

WELL SAID Ri!

No, the Iraqis that my friends have talked to DIDN'T feel the same way about Saddam. They're very pleased that he's gone.

I think some Iraqis honestly felt that way, unfortunately for Saddam, it wasn't the majority of them.

Saddam was a DICTATOR unlike Bush. Bush got elected democratically. And for all those people saying that Bush is a dictator on this site, SOMEONE elected him. He beat Kerry, it was a fair election.
