A Dragon. Specifically, a Copper Dragon. If I'm limited to actual living creatures of today, besides human, it would be an Orca.

An Eagle. And the reason is because then I could soar over the oceans, mountains, praries, desert - live in the treetops, ride the winds. Just like it says in the hymn Eagles Wings: "He will raise you up on Eagles Wings, bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun and hold you in the Palm of His Hands".

A large bird, perhaps an eagle.....to soar the skies.
