why did kate have bruises on her arms from the handcuffs?
what did that guy [[tom]] do to her? did he just drag her or did he rape her? what happened?!?!???

I am guessing she got her arms bruised from the cuffs when Ben requested that she put them on tighter. Tom didn't do anything to her. He already said she "wasn't his type."

I noticed that also and I think they are using her either for mating, or for the person who's in charge (like a gift to him), or just for fun. No one saw what happened, but she sure is acting strange.
Remember what he said to her about the next two weeks being bad for her? He also dressed her up - he said so she could feel like a lady and remember the moment that they were by the water, because he told her to hold on to that memory.

I dont think she was raped anyway. I think the handcuffs were just scraping off her wrists because Ben told her to tighten them when they were having breakfast.
