Yeah, yeah, yeah!
I am looking forward to this 100% - it will be great. I rarely like spin-offs but I have a feeling this will be fantastic. Jack in the Torchwood institute seems a great concept and with a lot of the "Who Crew" working on it the quality is sure to be great.
Also as a show aimed at a mature audience Captain Jack may do a lot more (if you see what I mean) than he ever could at 7pm on BBC 1.
I trust the team that brought us the best BBC show in years to do a repeat performance.

my son is a major dr who fan, and he is so excited about torchwood he cannot wait for the series to start. when they introduced captain jack into the doctors travels he was so impressive they couldn't let him go. i really hope that the idea of torchwood lives up to our expectations. what are your thoughts? Paul.

I'm looking forward to it, so yeah! I'm a Dr Who fan so I guess it's no surprise for me to say that, I hope it's a success as there is very little new sci-fi on the TV just now.

I've just seen a trailer for this when I went to the cinema and it looks genuinely pleasing, with edgy aesthetics, better effects than Dr. Who and a wider, more accessible cast. Whether or not they are better remains to be seen!

I think it will add to the Dr Who mythos. I'm looking forward to it, I guess, but I hope it's more than content in going its own way.

A Doctor Who clone we can sell to the US.
Been better to have had a longer Doctor Who season and spread the story over a few episodes...IMHO.
45mins isn't that much to do a Dalek story in.

Looking forward to it, they will be able to deal with subject matter that Who can't because of its audience
