I get this message on my pc a lot but only when I'm online. I have security software so its not likely to be a virus or anything like that.....is it??? What is it and how do I get rid of it? It's driving me insane!

Click on control panel>internet options>advanced tab, then put a tick in the Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable Script Debugging (Other) boxes. That should put a stop to it for you.

This usually only occurs with interpreted programming lanuages, like Visual Basic, or some compiled languages where exceptions generate a generic error.
Computer programming is a craft, but as with all crafts those damn programmers tend to cut corners. So, ever now and again, a bug will show its face that the programmer either didn't expect or was just too lazy to accommodate. And then either the program itself or the environment it runs in will complain of a runtime error.
Runtime errors occur *while* the program is running, and usually have an undesirable effect.
The alternative is compile time errors that occur while the program is being built (before you ever clap eyes on it), and these errors must be resolved before the program can exist. You'll never see these kinds of errors unless you write your own software.

ohhh! its when your internet thingy is saying that yahoo messenger or some type or online game is having a problem when your running the program. for example if u r on youtube (watching videos) it might say 'run time error' if the music video you are trying to watch is stuffed...
