I don't wear make-up much, and have never tried liquid foundation. I do want to try a good one w/o breaking the bank. I look like my avatar9as close as an avatar can be), so I want to know if someone can help and give me some honest answers on trying make-up, that isn't too cheap or too expensive. I like getting bang for my buck. I figure the most I'd spend is ten bucks on this stuff--u know, just to treat myself to something...or I could go to wal-mart and get something cheap. But I just want to try on a good liquid foundation, that's somewhat healthy for my skin. I want to see what it looks like too. Please help. I don't know if this would help, but I'm 28. Thanks.

i think the best foundation to use is maybelline's pure make up. unlike other foundatotions it has 50% water so it wont clog your pores.you could also try maybelline's dream matte mousse it looks very natural and doesnt clog pores. they both cost between 5-10 dollars.

I would not recomend liquid foundation. If you want something that is good then try mineral makeup. There are many brands on the web. Some have samlples. Everyday minerals has a free 5 pc sample set that all you pay is the shipping. Mineral makeup is good for your skin. It has sunscreen and natural skin soothers. Made from minerals! Try ebay for some cheaper brands that are still just as good in quality. Liquid will just clog pores and look fake.

If you have never used liquid, I don't think you would be that happy with it. Maybeline has a great new mousse foundation that covers great but is not heavy like a liquid. About $9.00 I think.
Another option you would probably like as well if not better is MAC Studio Fix powder compact. This powder covers great without that heavy liquid make up feel. About $20.00. Also Clinique double powder also has the the great coverage but I think the price is $17.00. Both are worth every penny! Once you try them you wont want to live without them.

i really like cover girl's foundations. there are a lot of different types. try the tru blend whipped foundation or the fresh look oil free. these are both very lightweight, which is what you want when first using a foundation. also, to match the right shade, you want to either test the foundation on your chin or on the back of your hand. the one that blends in and you can barely see is the correct color for you. usually, you can try them at places such as walmart or kmart. good luck

I dont really care for the liquid. I love maybeline DREAM MATTE MOUSE. It looks and feels so good, and is not heavy at all. I also love Mark makeup line from AVON. they have a make up with acne treatment that keeps you from breaking out.
