Among recent movies "Prancer" is one of the best; "The Santa Clause" is very good too(in fact the 3rd in the series will be out next month); as for the old classics, if you haven't seen the 1935 "Scrooge"made in England, you should! "The Three Godfathers" with John Wayne used to be shown every Christmas, and "The Bishop's Wife" with Cary Grant is good as well.

Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' with Alastair Sims is my all-time fav. While not the original being done in 1951, I love it in black & white, but you can find it nowadays colorized.
It has been remade several times since.
Scrooge 1970 with Albert Finney
An American Christmas Carol 1979 with Henry Winkler
Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol 1979
A Christmas Carol 1984 with George C. Scott
to name just a couple of the many

"It's A Wonderful Life" A nice classic, with good values! Or "A Christmas Child", but you might have to get that one from the library.
