Someone of Ebay (from overseas) bought a laptop, somehow used my Paypal account to purchase it. It was 1005.53 that was charged to my account, of course I don't keep that kind of money in my paypal so they used my back up funding which is my bank account. I filed for unauthorized debit at my bank and also filed with paypal and unauthorizd payment as well. Paypal did their 10 day investigation and put this money back in my account. So who does this money really go to? The bank tells me that they will send the money back and I won't get charged for it. They won't pay it since I filed unauthorized debit...so that part is taken care of. I'm just wondering why paypal put 1005.53 in my paypal account when I never had it in the first place! well i guess somebody guessed your username and password, and bought the goods, but if paypal sent you 1005.53 and the money never left your account i would check this out since paypal might ask for it back.
i would advise changing all your passwords.
