I sometimes wonder how it would be if we could fly?
By the way I know it is a strange question.

Not so strange. People under hypnosis often state that they are flying somewhere without the benefit of an airplane or other flying object. But, yes I have thought about it and I think it would be fantastic. Years ago there was a book written by Stephen Gould; I don't think it was the physicist; about a boy who practiced until he could do just that. If you go to Library of Congress' website at: loc.gov and post the question about Stephen Gould's books you might be able to find what the title was and then you could buy it at your local used book store. Have fun, good luck and don't think just because your questions are different they are that weird.

That's okay, Tulip, because we know you are a strange person. Regarding your strange question, don't you find the skies a bit crowded already? Can you imagine some 80 year old guy trying to navigate the airwaves? Think I'll stay on terra firma until I "go" to that big QA in the sky.

I'd love it if I could fly. Just the sensation of it. Perhaps not even flying to get to a certain location... just to be able to fly would be awesome.... who cares about getting from A to B, of course that's an added plus.

yes I would love to fly - I do't think I could jump out of a plane but if I could be in control yeah i;d love to!!!

Well tie a coat round your shoulders to make as wings and go and jump off a big rock snd see what it's like.
I used to do this when I was a kid and I have never yet come back down to earth. No wonder my mum was always telling me I lived on another planet.

Funny that...i was just thinking the other day how i wish i was a bird, but im scared of heights so then i thought it was a pointless exercise in thinking about it....however....does anyone know if birds get scared of heights???
