America is a miracle! So many different types of people, but why do we not protect this blessing better. We need to stand up for economy. BUY AMERICAN! STOP USING COMPANIES THAT HAVE CALL CENTERS IN INDIA! Why are Americans so blazee about this? We could use an economic boost, no? Question? Did we not have janitors and cooks before all of the illegal aliens? YES, they were happy to do it! Where is this psycho syndrome of "who else will do those jobs?" coming from? I hate all the lies surrounding this country and all of the B.S. democrats just giving everything away to other countries and our enemies.AMERICA IS NOT THE BAD GUY! We give more money to help the poor around the world than any other country! We are always helping other countries in need! It seems our people get nothing in return except for a bad rap. It is easy to hate the beautiful, rich and popular girl and makes lies up about her but when you get a chance to dock in her port, your the 1st one on the boat! God help us!

EVERYBODY knows that Republicans are the fixers and the democrats are the mess makers!-Look how Jimmy Carter gave away the Panamal Canal after the USA toiled to fix it, we now pay them to use it...democrats are dumb. Russ, I WHOLE HEARTEDLY must say in reagrds to your #8 response...
"#8 people in this country have been blind sided by a devide and conquer from the party in power"
IT SHOULD HAVE READ "PEOPLE ARE SO BLINDED BY PARTY TO PARTY PROPOGANDA THAT THEY ARE WAISTING THIER TIME AND EFFORTS ON LIES AND FIGHTING INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH THE REAL ISSUES OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Also, America always helps other countries and their people, it is called foreign aid.

After reading the BS in this from top to bottom it makes me sick!
Seems everyone here needs a lesson in economics.
#1 we do not spend the most on social programs- most countries have universal healthcare and pensions, including CHINA
#2 Companies outsourcing is a republican thing, not democrat
#3 the reason companies outsource is because tax laws allow them to NOT pay taxes on money made through outsourcing- a republican tax break
#4 People hate us around the world because we use our economic resources against them (See Mexico- wages actually went down after US jobs moved there, same is happening in China)
#5 We are not the biggest giver in the world based on GDP, actually we are one of the smallest
#6 It is actually cheaper to make most of the products that have been outsources here, even with union labor costs- BUT THEN THEY WOULD HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON IT (what was that republlican thing about those who actually pay taxes)
#7 neither political party really represents the people of the US, they are both in corporate pockets
#8 people in this country have been blind sided by a devide and conquer from the party in power
#9 under the constitution corporations are not supposed to have a voice in government, so why are they the only ones who have a voice right now??

So this is your attempt to slam Demos, and you know what? You suck at it. What have YOU done to create or keep jobs here? Do you buy any products made in Japan or China? Why? You need a real education in American economics. But see, that is part of the problem - the USA is not educating it's students well enough to keep jobs here. High school graduates that can't find Iraq or England on a map ( hell, they don't even know north, east, south and west ). You need only read YA after 3 PM in the afternoons to see what questions students are struggling with. They don't want to do their own homework, so while they are doing the games on the pc they are asking YOU to do their assignments. By the way, you close with God help us - and there is the other problem. You don't want to try and fix our world yourself so you pray because that is what 'good' conservatives like Foley and the other two Repbulican congressman do, hoping for a miracle to save the country.

Ever since the NAFTA program was put into effect, tons of corporations started moving their companies and factories to Mexico and other countries as well. This only helps the greedy CEOS and business owners get richer, and does nothing for our economy. I lived in Mexico a few years ago for a short time and I saw so many US Corporations there that had not been there before the free trade agreement. Workers in other countries make measly salaries compared to what Americans get paid for the same jobs. And US companies get away with paying these people nothing. Look at NIKE, Michael Jordan gets paid millions a year in endorsements from them, while the Nike workers half way around the world get scrap for pay, still living in poor conditions. My brother recently lost his job at AON due to outsourcing - He was making $72,000 a year in the IT dept, working on their computer systems. His job, along with many other good paying jobs in AON were dumped - so it's not just call centers jobs getting outsourced. More demanding technical jobs requiring higher education and advanced skills are also being lost. Many people may not realize this, even I did not know, until this happened to my brother. He has a college degree in computer science and lots of training in several highly technical software programs. I thought it was only call centers, it is actually much worse. The economy will suffer greatly if the government keeps letting this happen!! CEOS and executives of major corporations are greedy, so the bottom line is lining their pockets, not helping the consumer get a cheaper product. We've all heard get an education, go to college, but now, even going to college means nothing for some companies, because you'll be dumped for an Indian worker half-way around the world who makes $10,000 a year doing the same job as my brother did. Write your local representative, write your senator, and write to the President to tell them it sucks! Boycott companies who outsource. Make your voice heard.

Outsourcing is the American way. It's called capitalism. Getting the most for your buck. And no matter what idiots like you believe, it's not a Democrat thing, it's a money thing. And before you start, I'm a registered Republican and a realistic conservative.
Here's a question for you Twinkletoe's. Take a look at the back of your CPU, monitor and keyboard. Does it say "Made in America" or "Made in Somewhere Else"? I already know the answer, which of course makes you a hypocrite.

Un-American:
1. Outsourcing jobs
2. Big tax breaks for major corporations (to some degree)
3. Illegals
4. CEOs being compensated at a rate 1000 times (or more)higher than their employees
5. Tobacco(more addictive than heroin)= legal; Cannabis= illegal
6. America= #1 porn producing country in the world (yippee), yet we have the "Bible belt" to condemn this (boohoo)
7. Violence= good, sex= bad (see #6)
Oh sorry, these are all apparently VERY American. FYI: we do not give more money than some countries do when compared to our GDP.

Ever ask how our tax policies have created the need for outsourcing? Probably not. Businesses go where it is cost effective to do business. Remember this the next time you want an increase in minimum wage, more free benefits, and pensions. These all cost companies more to do business. When their costs go up, they leave. I feel anyone who votes for Democrats who tax the rich and businesses deserve to lose their jobs because they are so ignorant.

Well, as much as I agree with you, you have to remember that this nation fosters capitalism, and it is very capitalistic to outsource.
