In my wildest dreams I could never imagine myself on a nudist beach letting it all hang out, why do they do it and would you ?

I see from the replies that some of you have some strange ideas about what Nudism is.
It's not about "Letting it all hang out", Exhibitionism", Nudist just want to get a Suntan or just enjoy Nature without having to wear clothing. How many people "Enjoy" wearing a wet Bathing Suit?.
Real Nudists are not "In your face" Militants and dont want to offend anyone, the want to enjoy a Nude Beach without Gawkers and Perverts. No Nudist I have ever met would participate in the "Naked Bike Ride" through London or any city. Nudists just want to enjoy life by going naked when practical and wearing clothes when not.
"Seeing BABES naked", as very, very few people are really attractive, your chances of seeing an attractive person at a Nudist Beach are about 70% less than seeing an attractive person at a "Textile" Beach, 30% have been Nude on a Beach. Most people dont go to a regular Beach to be seen or gawk at others (other than perverts), it's not any different at a Nudist Beach.
The harsh reality is that YOU are not attractive, you may think that you are and be very concerned about your looks, fact is that less than 6% of the population could be a Model and even then only through a short career as we get older.
Nudists are just ordinary people like you (excluding the Religious Left or Right) who do the same things as you but without the restrictions of clothes.
As 90% of you go around your room or your house naked imagine how much more enjoyable it is out to Nature. Nudists go to Nudist Beaches and Clubs, these areas are fairly private and your chances of encountering a Naked person is fairly neglible. In Spain, there are Nudist Beaches EVERYWHERE, they are clearly marked so the only way that you will be there is either if you are a Nudist or a Gawker so there is no reason to be offended by the sight of a Human Body.
I'll leave you with one thought. A woman called the Police complaining that the man across the street was walking around his Bedroom naked with the curtains open. The Police said "I can only see his head from your livingroom" so the woman brought them upstairs. "I can only see from the waist up said the Policeman". The woman replied "yes but if you climb up on the wardrobe...." If you offended by Nudists...maybe you're trying too hard?

Llandudno. Haven't been to a nudist beach myself, but I have heard so much about Llandudno. It's quite secluded and apparently you have to walk down a path to get there. Very private. I was with my hubby on an installation job once at a house right next to the nudist beach and you won't believe the number of people that go there. One guy was actually disappointed that there was so many men and almost no women. lol. Add: Ha-Ha. Just shows you how much I know about Nudist Beaches. LOL. Thanks for the info, cakes.

I would certainly go if my friends were going and we had a fun day out planned. I don't think the human body is evil or sinful at all so I can not see how so many people have a problem with it.
I would not go to a nude beach alone though - as I would have nothing to do but look at boobies and bums which would get boring after an hour or two. I think some people may go just to letch but they are a minority.
I have no problem with people seeing my genitals (as far as I can fathom one in every two people has the same sort of equipment as me) and although I can see that some people have been taught their reproductive organs are shameful I just think that is a way people have of controling society to make people work harder and have less fun.
I don't think the UK climate is at all ideal for nudity but I do think this is very practical abroad.

No way! I know they say each to their own, and I suppose that's true, but it's disconcerting when you're strolling along the beach and suddenly a naked person walks past. I don't know why, either, but it always seems to be flabby unfit people that I've seen in the buff - maybe if more fit people did it we wouldn't mind so much? But urrghh is my reaction I'm afraid. Sorry all nudists :-(

I've only been a few times and I lvoe it.
Getting naked and lying in the sun is great.
Then of course there is the extra-curricular activites in the dunes
I've had a few memorable moments to last me into my old-age
the beach in Ostia - outside Rome - defintily the best

It is the great equaliser isn`t it ? Naked as the day you were born !
I really do not think it is a sexual thing, surely it is impossible with so many people of all ages looking at you. A little strange I must admit, but maybe it is an edifying experience.

nudist beach, nudist pub, nudist train, would lurve to get my kit off in a non sexual environment!! And lets face it, most nudists are not sexy anyway!!!

It is animalistic pursuit not a civilsed sport to go about nude at public places like beach***in the name of self proclaimed freedom of actions and expressions. The freedoms whatever they are must be the disciplined freedoms as per laws set by Ethics, Morals, Religion.

It definetly depends on your personality type. some enjoy being naked, while others like to wear large sweaters. I personally would if i was going to be seeing babes all day long....naked
maybe more even tan if the advantage for some
