This is all getting out of hand now. I think that the way this country is going is ridiculous. Why is it that we are not allowed to display our religious symbols because other religions find them offensive. This is our country which our parents and grandparents fought for in order for us to have freedom of speech and democracy. It seems to me that we are abiding by the laws of other countries instead of our own.We cant even fly St Georges flag because people of other religions feel offended. I dont know about you but I have had enough of it.

Stuff British Airways, remember when they took the union jack off the tails of their planes and replaced them with 'ethnic' artwork. Margaret Thatcher was right to cover a model up with a handkerchief in disgust. I'm proud to be British and a Christian, if any foreign national is offended by a cross, tough ****, just get back on a BA plane and piss off back from where you came from if you don't like it here.

I don't know about boycotting them, but maybe we should petition them. Either way, we need to be a witness to others no matter what we do. We shouldn't have to wear a symbol for people to know we're Christians. It's a good idea to profess our faith any way we can, but we should do our best to live as Christ did. "Actions speak Louder than words." God bless!

I think they said they can wear them but they have to be underneath their clothing. And this applies to any type of jewelry in the form of a necklace.
But if they decide to ban them altogether, then yes a boycott is necessary.

ABSOLUTELY! If you're going to ban religious expressions, you must ban all religious expressions. Not single out a peaceful group. They won't single out muslims because they are too afraid of them. Not all muslims, but the extremists would have a field day if BA tried to do that to them.

As I understand it this person wasn't told not to wear a cross, just that it should be worn under their uniform, as is the rules for all items of jewellery. I think this is being blown out of all proportion by the media to make a story that isnt really there.

If you live in England then if you are white, straight, christian, male or female you are bound to offend someone or be labelled a bigot or racist. Therefore Id say what they have done is most likely considered PC.
Gotta disagree with the whole thing tho.
Id like to see what reaction Id get if I walked around with a balaclava on with just my eyes showing lol.

dunno about a boycott because of the crucifix issue as that is all simply too stupid to comprehend - I am still to meet a person from any faith who gets offended about issues such as these, maybe I'm lucky & just have smart, sensible friends who worry about more important issues ....
I would recommend a boycott purely because BA are the most miserable & unhelpful company full stop, so many issues with them I'm not going to bore everyone more than I already have
Fly Virgin !!!
