Just out of interest.
It seems there are alot of people using yahoo answers that are easily offended and alot that purposely be as offensive as possible. It got me thinking about what is REALLY offensive, as most things we call offensive I think are just mildly irritating or question our own view of the world.

Flash your brights when there's only one lane? Cut me off while talking on your cell phone? Driving all the way to the end of a lane ending to get ahead of others who chose to wait? Cut me off just to make a left hand turn half a block away? Sometimes it's worth it when these same kind of people pass me up on a slick or icy road only to find them in a ditch further ahead. As far as Yahoo goes people who chose your answer as best and than decide to debase you with a really insulting comment.

I get very offended when i'm talking to someone i haven't met bofore & it comes into the conversation that i have 2 kids.. They ALWAYS make a face & say "really??? what age are you" they say this with such a dissaproving expression on their faces,it really gets on my nerves & i get very defensive. I'm 25 but i look quite young so people are always doing it to me. It makes me feel awkward telling any1 about my kids because disapproval just oozes out from them..

Something might tick me off, But offend naw, I don't take it seriously, its just words. Life's to short to worry about what someone says on here. People who report for getting there feelings hurt is BS, get over it. Its not worth it.

I really do not get offended by things people say. Especially when I do not know them and they do not know me. I get offended for others sometimes though when they are being picked on needlessly by some hypocrit or bigot.

The one thing that offends me is when people use the internet to troll for children. Makes me sick.

Anything genuinely mean-spirited about babies and children - I don't mean exhausted parents letting off steam, I mean people who really do not like small people. That goes for in utero babies as well.
