You have to order & install a mod chip. Look them up on the web, they are everywhere.

My son tried that, he had to buy a piece that plugs into the game before a copy game would play

You got need a ModChip that has to be sold it in to the PS2 very careful also you gonna need a PC with a DVD burner.
