The original series was the best by far.
The reunion of the 'duke boys' in a recent episode of Smallville was also superb, car stunts and all.

Knoxville and Scott were good, but you're comparing generational differences, too. The 80s Duke Boys were a little more innocent than these two guys. Knoxville & Scott came off a little more worldly than I picture a couple backwood hicks should be.

well you can't beat the originals. I always had a crush on John Schneider.
but I will admit that the remake was OK
Willie made a good Uncle Jesse, but Bert Reynolds as Boss Hog???? please! I personally think they could have found a better Daisy Duke also, but then I don't like Jessica Simpson.
Johnny Knoxville is good but ....and the other guy...well, he always has dumb roles and he plays them good, but he didn't do John any justice.and who the hell did they have as Roscoe P. Coltrain? I liked the original!!!!
