Thanks Scarbor...yeppers... Ol' GW was waiting for Diplomatic Negotiations to work... and Saddam thumbed his nose at the UN and their Resolutions from 1991.

France, Germany, and the Secretary-General of the UN were too busy making money off the Oil-for-Food Program and other business to want to get "involved".

Amazing though how Libya folded over WMD after living under sanctions and then watching Iraq's army get stomped.

The USA now controls the oil in Iraq. Iraq is the worlds 2nd. largest reserve. Oil is at $72/ barl. Gas will go up above the $2..29 now being paid. Iraq is about oil, Money and power, that's going to put a bunch of cash in the pockets of the Republicans in Congress. Also the Contracts to rebuild Iraq went to republicans who own companies like Halliburton. That would be Cheney.

no all of them approved,, some of the ones who did were given false intelligence reports,, Bush and team planned the war in Iraq before 9-11,, Saddam was doomed by these Thugs as soon as they bought off the US Supreme Court,, he had about as much chance as the GOP keeping the House and Senate in November 2006
