thats okay, everyone gets that. when u have things that are at the startup and u try to turn the computer off it says that b/c it can't run it anymore... next time u see it write it down n do a search in the windows search when u find it. go to Start-Run type in: Msconfig and go to the start-up section toward the end of the tabs. and uncheck n restart. then u should be fine! Exactly what it says! Something failed to initialize! If you dont tell us what it said exactly, you wont get any help!
Goffik is the only one here that knows what he is talking about too! The other answers will only create more problems than you already have!

You've got some TSR thingy like Yahoo messenger running. Just ignore it.

mine used to do that its because u have removed somethin but it hasnt fully removed its still in ur files sumwhere u need 2 read the full message and go 2 the file it mentions and delete

because you probably have a pop-up blocker on your laptop
(i do), and you have to press crtl to get whatever it is to pop up!!!
