Considering that 'no question is stupid' is a rule that most sages and wiz kids follow, no answer should be, either.

Bill Clinton asked and answered questions with a lot of stupid prose, in all the evasions that led to his conviction in Federal Court for perjury. But, lawyers and students will forever study those transcripts, so, in the end, they aren't stupid!

This is not a case of we sages sticking together, as much as it is a circumstance of trying to teach you to have a more reasonable response to all the FREE answers you get here, while we slave over the problems you present!

I highly recommend this URL about "How to ask a question the smart way" by my esteemed peers in advocasy, Eric s. Raymond, and Rick Moen, programmers, Open Source advocates 'par excellant'.

I haven't asked any questions, so no. I see stupid answers on here all the time though. It seems some people are more concerned with gaining points than actually helping people.

People give stupid answers all the time just to build up their points. After all you get 2 points for every answer.
