After Columbine and in more recent school violence, how can we make our nation's youth understand kindness and compassion rather than hatred and negativity. Kids are harsh towards one another....how can we change this? There are character ed.programs in schools, but how much emphasis is placed on a program like this? Teachers, Parents...Kids...what do YOU think?

It all begins in the home. If we don't value kindness and compassion and teach our children how important they are to us from an early age, no one and nothing else will. We can't leave teaching values to the public school system we need to invest our time in our own children.

Bring back the Cane and administer it in public floggings to the Bullies and Teasers.
The Parents, if any, cannot handle it. If a Bully is caught for a third time - he/she is automatically sent to Boot Camp for three months.
