Just type in your local zip code (or any other zip ) and dates you are interested in and it will tell you what's going on. Just sign up for a free account . It will also send you to the web site of the event for all the details! It has a reminder system that will email you ahead so you don't forget what events you want to plan on attending.

Try Joonbug.com for the Los Angeles area for info on club events. Goldstarevents.com for plays, shows, and cultural events. Citysearch.com is really good, too, for pretty much everything including restaurants.

Type in your local newspaper.
Example: Los Angeles Times.

Type in your search engine (Google, Yahoo etc) the name of your town followed by "online newspaper"
You can do this for just about any town or country in the world.
