He admired Hitler for bringing prosperity back to Germany. Henry Ford also admired Stalin.

Henry Ford was probably not a personal friend of Hitler, but it is a known fact that he was a big-time anti-semite (person who hates Jews). The fact is that every new Ford Model T sold came with three items in the glove box: The owner's manual, a bible, and a book called "The Protocols of the Sages of Zion". It's basically an anti-jew propaganda book, saying how the Jewish community leaders of the world were conspiring to control the world's economy.

Henry Ford, JFK's father and Charles Lindberg supported the National Socialists German Party, the NSDAP, because they felt the party could help Germany out of the Depression. They also supported the party because it was seen as a way to stop the spreading of Communism. However, when they realized exactly what Hitler's plans were, many supporters began to rethink their position. So I wouldn't say that Ford, Lindberg or Kennedy were 'friends' of Hitler's, I wouldn't even say that they were supporters of his. They intially supported the NSDAP until the truth about the propganda was learned.

Though Ford was anti-semitic and an open admirer of Hitler, it would probably be going too far to say that the two were friends.

Henry Ford set up truck factories in German just prior to WWII when Germany was ruled by Hitler. He has been considered pro-Nazi, as was Lindberg and John F. Kennedy's father.

It's been widely recognized that Ford was an "Anti-Semite." I'm uncertain if he was sympathetic, however, to Hitler's brand of totalitarianism or the Nazi agenda. I personally cannot claim to know of any substantive links to them personally that would "qualify" them as being "friends." This sounds as though it is unlikely, but nevertheless not out of the realm of "possibility." I'm going to add this question to my 'watch list" so that I can see if someone produces definitve proof of their supposed liason. Interensting question... good look your responces...
