I live in Zone 5 detroit, and I have ugly little bushes that give smelly little microscopic flowers in the summer. I hate looking at them
In zone 5 detroit, is there still time to replace them with boxwoods?I have one, and if i remember correctly, it kept its green leaves during the winter.

Yes, plant them before the ground freezes.
Yes, the leaves stay green in winter.

If it keeps it green leaves during winter then plant them soon before it gets too cold.. dig deep enough for the roots ...

I think it is already to late for it to root properly. Wait till spring to plant.
