is a temporary license (one given to you after you pass a drivers license test, valid for so many days) a valid form of identification?

Most of the time the only real valid is a Government Issued Picture/Photo Identification... But other cards issued from government that do not have a photo of you are not as reliable as the Drivers License/Identification Card.

No it isn't. I recently received a letter about having to renew my license and it said in the letter that ID be receiving a temporary license for 30 days and that it is not a valid form of ID, so to make sure I have another form of ID to use.
