If there is a site on the web that has free fonts to download, you can find them from your desktop and IE by typing, "free fonts or free downloads, Windows fonts" in the search box or address bar of your browser, or choose your own the words. The only way to find out is search or Google!

I'm a fan of http://www.abstractfonts.com/.
Here they are sorted into categories based on features (Gothic, Chunky, Handwriting etc) and once selected there is the name of the font in that font. Clicking on the name gives a preview of all the characters in that font.
In case you can't find is straight away - when previewing a font - look to the top right to find the download buttons!

Here's a few sites for you to try, but why not just search using Google or Yahoo and type "Free Fonts" in the search bar.
