OPEN YOUR VOLUME CONTROLL AND MAKE SUTE ITS NOT TURNED DOWN OR MUTED. AND CHECK THE VOLUME ON YOUR SPEAKERS.

hello have you tried to turn up the volume on the dvd player , you know windows media player if no try it you may get sound then turn up the volume on windows settins on the sound icon in the taskbar put all volume up and make sure none is tick on mute

check the sound cable on the drive if its a p two or p three...if its a p four then you have an incompatible drive
