What type of music do you listen to when cleaning? Does cleaning relax you, or do you hate to clean?

I listen to mellow jazz when cleaning, and both relax me. After cleaning, I feel better and think clearer. What about all of you? Does music make it easier for you to clean? Do you enjoy cleaning for different reasons, or hate it no matter what? Thanks

p.s. Slow jazz is the only music I can listen to when cleaning that doesn't distract me, or make me feel like dancing or doing something else. :)

I enjoy listening to music when i clean. I clean better when i am home alone with no one to clean around. I enjoy cleaning when I'm not forced if i know i have to get up and do it, but if i am sick and no one else will do it and i know it has to be done it makes me made,,because there are so many abled bodies to do it they just leave it up to me..I guess it just depends on my mood..

I listen to a mix of upbeat country, pop and rock music when I clean. I hate cleaning the house cause it never stays clean and I don't get credit for at least trying, though I do feel better once it's done. If I didn't have music to listen to, I would die and probably never clean again!

I listen to dance/techno/freestyle music. It is fast, so it gives me cleaning energy. It puts me in a good mood. My biggest motivation that gives me energy is the sun. If it's a sunny day, you will not find my house dirty! On rainy or cloudy days, I'm not up to doing much. On those days, I'm a hermit. When my house is dirty, I feel kinda depressed. I do not enjoy the cleaning, but it is what has to be done to keep my home comfortable. When my home is clean, I feel I happy and then I have time for other fun activities.

Cleaning must be a woman thing...i HATE doing it. After my divorce the only time my place gets cleaned is when my mother visits.
I would rather dig up an old tree or a rebuild the transmission in my car than wash dishes.
To that end, I have talk radio on when I'm cleaning.

I like something with a beat, like 80's music, or some really energetic country. It depends if I have heavy cleaning to do, or light cleaning, as to whether it relaxes me. But it is nice to relax in a clean home!
